Experience the celebration where the Cinco de Mayo triumph occurred and the monuments, colonial architecture, and gastronomy of Puebla with Borderlandia.

On this 6-night cultural heritage tour, you’ll experience a kaleidoscope of sights, tastes, sounds, scents, and scenic gems that represent the city of Puebla, Mexico. From walking the colorful streets of Puebla's historic center to tasting the regional cuisine, this trip will reflect the region’s cultural landscape in the volcanic shadows of Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl.

Stand in awe in front of the largest pyramid in the world, capped by a chapel, explore the Talavera tile-studded convent kitchens where the mole poblano sauce was created, and marvel at the first public library in the Americas.

With expert guides and all-inclusive accommodations and activities, this tour offers an immersive experience that will impart memories to last a lifetime.

Trip Details:

The rendezvous point is at an indicated hotel in Mexico City, where we spend the arrival (day one) and night (day six) before departure days. Our recommendation is to fly into Mexico City’s Benito Juarez International Airport for this trip and to transfer from the airport to our meeting Mexico City hotel point.

You will travel in the comfort of private transportation with a professional chauffeur. Our accommodations include two nights at a Mexico City Hotel and the remainder of the evenings at a hotel in the historic heart of Puebla.

Dates: May 1 -7. 2026 (6 nights / 7 days)

The total price of the tour:

$3400 Double occupancy (per person)

$3900 Single occupancy

Moderate plus. There will be walking almost every day, given our central location in the heart of historic downtown Puebla.

  • 2 nights of hotel accommodations in Mexico City (Day 1 & Day 6)

  • 4 nights of hotel accommodations in Puebla (Day 2,3,4,5)

  • Private transportation with a professional driver

  • Guides and translation services

  • All museum admission fees

  • Meals -12 total meals: 6 breakfasts, 5 lunches,  & 1 welcome dinner

    Mexico’s main meal is a mid-day meal served between 1-3 pm in the afternoon.

  • Airfare to and from Mexico City

Cancellation Policy - Mexico Tours

Overnight tours to Mexico are fully refundable up to ten weeks before the initial tour date. If cancellation occurs between ten and six weeks before the tour’s first day, it is subject to a $250 (per person) administrative fee. There is no refund if cancellation occurs from six weeks to the tour's start date. There’s also the option to transfer the registration to another individual found by the original registrant.
